		Picture Pakkam 1 and 2 is traditional way of processing land by using bullocks to plant traditional verities of rice.   Pakkam 3 and 4 are plucking of traditional verities of rice plant from nursary by women groups. ( These seeds we collected after long work They are almost extincted by now. This will become a challenge to Monsanto's GM seeds)  . Pakkam 5 and 6 are women groups planting them in the prepared land. We have protected 12 verities this time.   Next year we will have more seed verities Shaji skriver också:  Now I am coming straight from Fisheries Office. I went there to collect small fishes to integrated farming with our rice along with ducks!This is an experiment. This will be very profitable to the women if it successful. Now things are going very good and 3 women group are very happy. But to make a succes in integrated farming ducks, fish and rice at the same filed we need to have a permenant water bed in the field and there should not be flow out of water. For keep water level all the time we need a pumpset.       The benefit of integrated farming is there is three crops at same time and fish and ducks will eat away all weeds in the field. That will lessen the work of women and improve production of rice.		Pakkam 6
